Eknath Shinde Born on 9 February 1964 in  Dare Village, Jawali taluka in Satara, Maharashtra. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is a famous leader of the Maratha community. His family relocated to Thane in search of a better life.

Through Mangala High School & Junior College in Thane, Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde completed his eleventh standard. He had to leave school to assist his family because of responsibilities to them. Following his appointment in the government ministry, Shinde went back to school, and in 2020 he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.

Sambhaji Shinde is Eknath Shinde’s father, and Gangubai Sambhaji Shinde is his mother. The two of them reside in Satara. Shinde married Lata. Their three children were Shubhada, a third daughter, Deepesh, a second son, and Shrikant, a first son.
